1. Workshop one - Getting Started
The first workshop introduces you to colour work using Fairisle knitting techniques. You will make a start on knitting the cushion, learning to strand and weave different colours. The session covers knitting in the round, working from a chart and knitting steek stitches. All patterns and charts will be provided so you will then be able to continue independently until the next workshop. Prior to the session you will need to cast on the required number of stitches using a provisional cast on.
2. Workshop Two - Moving On
Reinforcing and cutting your steek. Picking up stitches and two colour ribbing. Prior to this session you will need to have completed all the charts and the main body of the knitting.
3. Workshop Three - Completing and Finishing
The grand finale! Blocking your work and joining the cushion together.
